Secret marriage with bodyguard

Stepping in Whitney Houston´s footsteps...

She must have seen the movie "Bodyguard" with Whitney Houston numerous times. Anastacia (born 1973) fell in love with her bodyguard (photo >>>) directly after she finished her relationship with the German MTV presenter Patrice Bouédébila (see below).

It is said that they were getting married! Finally she secretly married him in Mexico. In a German interview (magazine "Bunte") the 33-year-old said: "Everything is just like it should be." Secretly she added: "Our honeymoon we are going to have in a very private and romantic location."

In October 2006 the singer got engaged to her British boyfriend bodyguard Wayne Newton. Bodyguard Wayne Newton left his ex-fiancee Lorraine Elston, whom with he has two children.

Anastacia ends long term romance with German MTV presenter

During her recent German Tour Anastacia ended her relationship with her boyfriend Patrice Bouédébila. She told one of her fans that she split Patrice and right now they still remain good friends.

Maybe Patrice had been away to long: For the adventure show "Peking Express" (RTL television-Germany) he had been accompanied several candidates during their 9000 km Tour from Moscow to Peking. As Anastacia wanted him to meet her parents, he had been wandering in Siberia or in a Shaolin Monastery. That's how Anastacia's new boyfriend bodyguard Wayne came in the picture...

Little Anastacia (height: 5' 3'') got to know her "German" at "Select MTV" and afterwards both of them had been spotted at the Echo Awards. Before that she used to have a relationship with the stuntman James Ingram.

Patrice Bouédébila was born and raised in Berlin. He went to a French school and worked as a model before he had been discovered from the music channel MTV. At the moment he is the presenter of the music show MTV Urban. Once in a while he also played some smaller parts in television series and soaps.

Fashion

In 2005 superstar Anastacia showed up with an unusual look for an Italian designer label. She participated in a Blumarine photo shoot (photo left) she kept her blonde hair rigidly styled straight upwards. Both sides are strongly fixed with a gel (screenshot left).

Fantastic soundtrack

For the sound of the movie "The Fantastic Four" Anastacia sang a duet together with Ben Moodie (photo below). The appropriate title: "Everything Burns".

Anastacia`s second "Comeback"

Anastacia fully recovered from her breast cancer. In 2004 she made her Live Tour in Germany. Her concerts were so popular that they were sold out months before. Maybe the seperation with her ex boyfriend Patrice (see article above) was the second reason for the "to be left outside alone" rock lady to decide to have another Tour in Germany in 2005.

Anastacia is not wearing all of her hair one length, only the sides have been shaped to suit her face. Her striking highlights (two colours: red and black) offers Anastacia's hair a sun-kissed glow and a shimmery radiance.

Styling tip: Use a hair straightener to flat iron your hair. Afterwards you braid a couple of front locks which you can add a hairpin.

More personal information

Anastacia comes from a very artistic family. Her father Robert Newkirk was a singer and her mother Diane Hurley was an actress in musical theater on Broadway. At age 13 she has been diagnosed with the chronic intestinal illness Crohn's disease. Due to this disease she had an operation and has a big scar on her stomach.

In January 2003 she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing breast cancer surgery she started chemotherapy. She successfully completed a course of treatment and defeated her breast cancer within only 6 months. In less than a year she was singing again. In 2004 she recorded her new, self-titled "Anastacia" album. Lots of songs on this album were influenced by her hospitalization and she made an impressive comeback. Anastacia has sold more than 33 million albums worldwide. In late 2005 she released her first greatest hit collection, entitled "Pieces of a dream."
