The blonde pop singer and actress Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey announced their seperation in the "US Weekly."

Their statement: "After three years of marriage and careful thought and consideration we have decided to part ways".

Maybe because of Mr. Richard Blackwell, the fashion critic, who is well known for his annual "ten worst-dressed women of the year awards." In 2005 Blackwell's third place went to Jessica, who he refers to as a "cut-rate Rapunzel slingin' hash in a vegas dinner". The worst dressed women was Britney Spears and Mary-Kate Olsen came in second.

Not so long ago the unhappy couple shared their turbulent life with their fans in the MTV reality soap Newly weds.

Maybe singer Nick (born: 1973) already suspected something when he recorded his album "So(u)lo" (see cover above) in 2003.

According to a poll conducted by " In Touch" magazine, most women would love to have the blonde pop singer Jessica Simpson's hair (photo left). Her stylist is the Star Hairdresser Ken Pavés. The dog lover Jessica beated the current bob styled actress collegue Jennifer Aniston.

Jessica in the role of sexy Daisy

In the long awaiting remake of the successful American comedy show "The Dukes of Hazzard" she plays the role of cousin Daisy Duke (photo right). She also sang the soundtrack of the film: "These Boots Are Made For Walking".
